I’m trying to prove my brothers and group of male co-workers wrong by showing them that yes, girls and other people play video games like Mass Effect. This isn’t even necessary.  Your brothers and male co-workers only have to stop living under a rock to see that this is true.  It takes very little observation to see female influence in gaming everywhere these days.  Go to a game store, pick up a gaming magazine, check the staff list at any major game company.  TALK TO WOMEN.  They should be doing this work if they need “proof”.  I don’t think any of us need to prove to them that we’re gamers!  This is not meant to be offensive to the OP, truly.  But, encourage them to find out for themselves, it would take very little work on their part before they saw the truth that has somehow escaped them thusfar. :)
