Also, if Anon ever reads this and it’s responses I’d like to point this out -

If your project is important to you and you want to put your best foot forward (and a good cover is a great way to do that!), offer some money to your artist. Even if you’re independent and don’t have a lot to offer, show that this really is an important by saving up some cash to pay an artist. You’ll get a better result and more interest that way, and you’ll be supporting another creative type!
